it's time for the Coastal Credit Union Scholar Athlete of the month paid This is Creighton in It's that time again to celebrate outstanding stories and outstanding athletes without scholar athlete of the Month program We want to start out with a few special shadows to Ivy Jones of Apex Friendship High School and also Natasha Long from Milberg High School And now here's Kristen with this month's winner Hey it's Kristen here from 99 9 The Phantom here with Hanna Malik of Athens Drive High School She is our scholar athlete of the month You are senior So you're graduating Come June Do you have plans for the fall Yes I'm going to be attending Washington the universities in Lexington Virginia It's a great little school I'll be playing basketball there some super excited for that You know I love the girls of the coaching staff just to play another four years of basketball I just couldn't be more excited Travis the athletic director here at Athens Drive High School Why did you nominate enough It's award and has a phenomenal work out like she probably has a better workout like that Every kid or any kid that I've ever seen it Athens and I've been here almost 20 years She is maximized everything that she possibly could with her basketball career She's contributed a ton at lacrosse In addition to that she's an outstanding student I mean she's one of the best students in her class so the combination of her being a great student and phenomenal athlete made her perfect choice for this word For over 15 years Coastal Credit Union alone with the fan and the buzz have been honoring local high school students who excel in the classroom and on the field If you'd like to nominate a student head to W R E l sports fan dot com BACKSLASH Sports radio
